Amazing sunglasses from the FENDI Fall 2012 Milan Fashion Show!

MILAN, February 23, 2012

Browsing the racks before the show today, Silvia Venturini Fendi claimed that life as a Roman means living with layers of history, from distant yesterdays to pell-mell tomorrows… there was a curious and charming retro edge in the Fendi collection, evident in details—a puff sleeve, a fichu, a bustle—that could almost pass as folkloric were it not for the fact that they were delivered in such an incongruous way. That bustle, for instance, bunched from navy blue croc or antelope hide. Incongruity may, in fact, be even more of a Fendi signature than the hybrid. It guarantees that this label’s collections will always defeat expectations, in the best possible way.

I love the soft, sensuous feeling of the new Valentino Spring/Summer ‘12 Collection. The opthalmic eyewear is elegant, beautiful and delicate, offering a unique luxurious appeal to every woman. The Valentino Eyewear Collection will be available at the 20-20 Optical Store next week 15.2.12.

I watched the first episode of US sitcom “New Girl” last night, starring Zooey Deschanel. I have been a fan of Zooey ever since watching 500 Days of Summer a couple years ago. I love her fun and quirky style, and she rocks a pair of Oliver Peoples in the show, which suit her geek chic personality perfectly! I recognised these frames from our shop floor, and apparently they are one of our best sellers here. If you would like a pair of these frames, pop into the 20-20 Optical Store and ask one of our staff for Wacks, by Oliver Peoples. Can’t wait to curl up in my bed tonight for episode number 2!
